• The total debt of the Province is (this year alone) increasing at the rate of $618 Million annually or $1.7 Million per day.
• Total debt on March 31/06 - $19,744,000,000. Total debt projected for March 31/07 - $20,362,000,000. (more than $20 Billion).
• Since 1999, when the NDP were elected, the total debt of the Province increased by $3,388,000,000. (almost $3.5 Billion). The NDP continues to try to convince Manitobans that it has balanced its books yet the debt of the Province has increased by almost $3.5 Billion since 1999, a 20% increase in total debt!

It took 129 years for Manitoba to accumulate $16 billion of debt. It only took 7 years for the NDP to add almost $3 1/2 billion more to the debt of the Province!
